Educating and discipling leaders for life.
The DCA Difference
Christian Curriculum
A Christian education is more than starting the day with a prayer. We use a tested and academically rigorous Bible-based curriculum, that weaves God’s story throughout the school day. Our goal is to impart a worldview that explores and explains God’s creation and our role in that created world.
Caring Teachers
Having the best teachers in our classrooms is critical for providing the best education possible! In our classes, you’ll find teachers who are passionate about learning and want to see every student succeed. They see their role as a mission to care for and encourage their students, helping them find motivation and self discipline, while also discipling students and investing in their character.
Creative Opportunities
Of course we seek subject mastery in the basics, like reading, writing, and arithmetic. But, as a private school, we have the freedom to provide creative learning opportunities so that our students are prepared to take on our modern world. We focus on age appropriate lessons in technology and the arts, as well as special instruction in spelling, speech, and handwriting. With our small class sizes, we encourage collaborative teamwork, as well as the skills to work independently.
Close-Knit Community
We believe that we are called to educate and disciple in partnership with our students’ families and home churches. Parents are encouraged to be active in the school and in their child’s education – with the goal of creating a cohesive community that uplifts and supports the students, each other, and the school broadly.
Admissions
Dalhart Christian Academy offers open enrollment throughout the school year. We are currently accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year.
Some classes are at capacity, but we do maintain an active waiting list in those instances. To inquire about availability in a specific classroom, please call the school office at 806.244.6482.
Our mission calls us to provide a quality Christian education for all – and we are pleased to offer scholarships for families in need of financial assistance.
Scholarships are evaluated by our Board of Directors and/or the entity that sponsors the scholarship to determine the awarded amount. We are so thankful to our donors and sponsoring churches who provide much needed scholarship assistance for families!
